- What does an engagement cost?
- Scoped after we've read your note and asked any follow-ups. Most projects fall into either fixed-fee sprints (1–4 weeks, single deliverable) or monthly retainers (ongoing advisory, fractional IT, or recurring infrastructure work). Quote within 48 hours if it's a fit.
- How fast can you start?
- Usually within 1–2 weeks for new engagements. Live incidents and active outages get prioritized — if you're losing email right now, say so in your note and we can often start the same day.
- What happens after I send a note?
- We read it. If we have clarifying questions, we'll ask — it's a real conversation, not an intake ticket. If it's something we can help with, you'll get a written assessment and we'll set up a call to scope. If it's not, we'll tell you straight and point you somewhere better.
- What if I just need a one-off fix?
- Then a one-off fix is what we'll do. Some engagements are six hours of work and a written runbook. The rate is the same whether the engagement is one hour or 100.
